Looks like the deprecated automated service to commits@jmri-developers.groups.io has breathed its last. There haven't been any messages since January 8.

Dave,

Thanks for the reminder - I was looking at the Groups.io GitHub plugin, but needed to figure out the correct permissions for the linked user.

Best regards,

Matt H

Dave,

I've figured out the necessary permissions for the GitHub integration and have configured it to post messages when commits are made to the following repositories:

  • JMRI/JMRI
  • JMRI/website
  • JMRI/EngineDriver
  • JMRI/vsdecoder
  • JMRI/XTrkCadReader
Let's see how this works...

Best regards,

Matt H

Ok, looks like commit messages are coming in now.

Bit of a different format but that's not the end of the world.

Thanks, I've had several come in.

Not a problem.

Looks like the commit emails are back. (I think GitHub were running some brownout trials of to-be-deprecated services).

To avoid confusion, probably best that I switch them off, especially as the GitHub integration seems to be working OK.

Assuming no objections, I'll do that later this evening.

Best regards,

Matt H
